About Ramleela Samiti Sector 3 BHEL Haridwar

Saanskritik Kala Sadan Sri Ramleela Samiti, Sector–3, BHEL, Haridwar has been presenting the sacred tradition of Ramleela since 1982. Our mission is to bring alive the ideals of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram and share his timeless values with the world. For us, Ramleela is not just a performance; it is a way to inspire generations with the morals and teachings of Lord Ram.

In the early years, our Ramleela was performed in the traditional style. The scenes were performed in front of curtains at that time and as soon as the scene was over, the curtains were closed and opened for the next scene. This method carried its own charm and sanctity. However, as times changed, so did the expectations of audiences. Inspired by this, we embraced innovation while staying rooted in tradition.

Since 2019, we have been presenting theatre-based Ramleela, enriched with creative themes like Akshardham and Red Fort, making each year’s performance unique and memorable. To keep pace with today’s generation, we also integrate modern technology. With LED walls, VFX effects, and motion backgrounds, we create an immersive experience that brings the epic to life. Alongside, we stay connected with our community through digital platforms for regular updates.

Just as Lord Ram fulfilled every duty with devotion, we too strive to do everything possible to motivate today’s youth. Our ultimate aim is simple – if even 1% of Lord Ram’s values can be adopted, or if even one soul comes to realize his greatness, our efforts will be worthwhile.
